C021 Pad-folio
These instructions were given to us by Marian. I do not have her last name marked anywhere but we have sure enjoyed making these. They make such a nice gift. This one was taught and done by my used -to -be stamping daughter, Glenyce.
Place a sheet of 81/2” x 11” cardstock in front of you with the 81/2” on the right and left for the directions.
From the left side, mark a score line at 5/8”, 7/8” and 6”. From the top right corner, mark down to 31/2” and up to the 6” score line. Cut this away. You can cut this on a curve or straight, whatever you want. Score at ½” at the bottom, right across the 11”. Cut away the ½” up to the 6” score line only.
Fold all the score lines to the outside. Glue the 5/8” lip on to the back of a 5” x 8” writing tablet. Fold the last piece to the inside to form a pocket for important papers. Glue the bottom 1/2" lip to close the pocket.
Now you are ready to stamp and decorate the front. Glenyce used black Memories ink with the sunflower #09154.R page 166 and leaves #09180.M page 202 on Pumpkin cardstock. Phrase is by Stampendous. She coloured with pencil crayons.
You can see that I stuck a little flyer in the pocket to show you what the inside looks like.
The last photo is what the back looks like. As you can see, only the 5/8" flap is glued to the writting tablet.
First taught this class on September 19, 2001.
