C052 Heartstrings

Prepare card by folding 81/2” x 51/2” white cardstock in half with a bone folder. Lightly mark the center length of the card using a pencil and ruler. About 11/2” from the top of the card, on center line, make two small slits with a craft knife about ½” in length, parallel to each other with at least ¼” between the slits. Repeat the process at about ¾” above the bottom of the card, parallel to the previous cuts. Erase pencil marks.

Swipe card front with a static bag. Randomly silver emboss Magenta flower 09.163.H page 184. DTP using Turquoise, Colonial Blue and Midnight from the Aurora Petal Point ink pad to the card front. Wipe off the embossed images with a Kleenex. Randomly over stamp with the tiny Magenta flower 14.470.B page 288 using Midnight pigment ink.

Fold two silver cords, each 20” long in half and insert the folded ends into the top slit. Insert the ends of the cords into the bottom slit. Trim excess cord.

Glue cords in place.

M183 We're Behind You 100%

Cardstock - White, SU! Blush Blossom, Plum.

Ink - Vivid Plum.Stamps - 14470.B page 288, 09196.E page 280, E.0338 page 251.

Accessories - sponge, scallop scissors.

So here is the matching undies! Cute eh? Pattern is on the previous post.

To create the lace, I cut a strip of plum cardstock about 1" wide. I traced the top of the undies and cut it out with scallop scissors. See photos below.

Then I followed the curve to cut the bottom pieces off - see next photo.

By gosh .... I think this looks just about like me from behind ... er ... am I still dreaming!!!??

M182 You're like no Utter

Cardstock - White, SU! Blush Blossom, Plum.

Ink - Vivid Plum.

Stamps - 14470.B page 288, 09196.E page 280, E.0338 page 251.

Accessories - sponge, EK Success flower punch, Nesties Oval scallop, white pen. 1/4" circle punch, pink chalk.

I know what card I'm making for my five son-in-laws for their birthdays! I know they will get a hoot out of this card!

I found the pattern HERE. Thanks Frances.

I stamped, cut apart and sponged all the edges of the bra. For the lace edging, I cut plum cardstock using the Nesties scallop oval - see photo on right.

Then I layed one bra cup on the oval and marked down one scallop below the bra cup. On this next photo, you can see my white pen marks.

Remove the bra cup and cut the lace on a curve. Flip this piece over to match with the other scallops to cut the second piece of lace. Cut the straps 3/8" wide from the middle piece and stitch with a white pen. Because I have lots of scraps of this color, I'm going to save the middle piece for a pattern for other cards. Hopefully you can see what I mean in the bottom photo.
Once I glued the lace scallop to the bra cups, I layed them on my ladies chest and chalked a little cleverage.

The rest is straight forward. I hope you will give this a try. Too much fun!

By gully, if I didn't know better, I'd swear this was my body ... er... am I dreaming!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.... On my next post, I'll show you my ladies matching undies. Make sure you come back, or better yet, become an e-mail subscriber and have my posts sent directly to you!
