C065 Blue Pear

Prepare card by folding 8½ x 51/2” light blue cardstock in half. Crease fold with a bone folder. Stamp the front with 14.483.S page 291 using Versamark. Set aside.
Cut light blue cardstock 31/4 x 41/4”; cut white cardstock 31/2 x 41/2”; cut navy cardstock 4 x 5”. Cut each piece on the diagonal to form triangles. We only need one piece of each. Set aside.

Make sure you are using the right corner. Using the same stamp as above, stamp on the light blue triangle using Vivid Inky Blue ink. Mount on to the white cardstock then on to the navy cardstock. Adhere to the top right side of the card. Set aside.

Stamp the pear 09.054.H page 30 on to light blue cardstock. Trim, leaving about a ¼” border. Mount on to white cardstock then navy.

Apply eyelets to the pear panel and mount to the bottom left corner of the card using mounts.

Applying Eyelets:
Determine placement of eyelets and mark with a pencil. Punch pencil marks with a 1/8” hole punch. Insert the eyelets from the front. Place right side down on a cutting matt or a scrap of hardwood. Position the attaching tool and tap firmly with a hammer.

Stamp a phrase using Inky Blue ink to the inside and sign your work.

Decorate a purchased envelope to match.
