Make 10 Template

There is an excellent demo by Selma Stevenson on pages 14 to 17 of the Stampers' Sampler Take Ten Volume 111 issue called Make 10. Selma has come up with a way to make 10 cards from one stamped piece of cardstock. For the next ten posts, I will show you my ten Christmas cards using her template. The photo above is a picture of all 10 cards.
Begin by splattering off white cardstock with navy acrylic paint. Once dry, overstamp with four different stamps and four different ink colors.

Light bulb 02067.A page 7. Used Vivid Red.

Pine sprig 09114.E page 35. Used Vivid Vintage Green.

Leaf 02183.D page 247. Used Vivid Olive.

Berries - 02171.F page 249. Used Vivid Ultramarine ink.
Turn cardstock over and copy the template using a pencil - start by tracing into fourths first then draw the smaller pieces. Once you have done that, cut into fourths first then continue cutting the pieces apart. Make sure and number each piece on the back as you cut them apart.

In case you can't read my measurements on the template, here they are:

Number 1 and 2 are 51/2" x 41/4", then ripped on the diagonal.

Number 3 is 11/2" square - there are three of them.

Number 4 is 11/4" x 51/2".

Number 5 is 11/2" x 51/2".

Number 6 and 7 are 41/4" x 51/2" then ripped in half.

Number 8 is 2" square - there are two of them and one narrow piece that is 1/4" x 51/2"

Number 9 and 10 are each 13/4" x 4".

Cut 5 sheets of 81/2" x 11" red cardstock in half. Fold and randomly stamp the front with the berries 02171.F page 249 using Versamark ink.

Now we are ready so we will start with Card #1 on my next post. A nice thing about this template is you can use printed or double sided paper if you are short of time.

M183 We're Behind You 100%

Cardstock - White, SU! Blush Blossom, Plum.

Ink - Vivid Plum.Stamps - 14470.B page 288, 09196.E page 280, E.0338 page 251.

Accessories - sponge, scallop scissors.

So here is the matching undies! Cute eh? Pattern is on the previous post.

To create the lace, I cut a strip of plum cardstock about 1" wide. I traced the top of the undies and cut it out with scallop scissors. See photos below.

Then I followed the curve to cut the bottom pieces off - see next photo.

By gosh .... I think this looks just about like me from behind ... er ... am I still dreaming!!!??

M182 You're like no Utter

Cardstock - White, SU! Blush Blossom, Plum.

Ink - Vivid Plum.

Stamps - 14470.B page 288, 09196.E page 280, E.0338 page 251.

Accessories - sponge, EK Success flower punch, Nesties Oval scallop, white pen. 1/4" circle punch, pink chalk.

I know what card I'm making for my five son-in-laws for their birthdays! I know they will get a hoot out of this card!

I found the pattern HERE. Thanks Frances.

I stamped, cut apart and sponged all the edges of the bra. For the lace edging, I cut plum cardstock using the Nesties scallop oval - see photo on right.

Then I layed one bra cup on the oval and marked down one scallop below the bra cup. On this next photo, you can see my white pen marks.

Remove the bra cup and cut the lace on a curve. Flip this piece over to match with the other scallops to cut the second piece of lace. Cut the straps 3/8" wide from the middle piece and stitch with a white pen. Because I have lots of scraps of this color, I'm going to save the middle piece for a pattern for other cards. Hopefully you can see what I mean in the bottom photo.
Once I glued the lace scallop to the bra cups, I layed them on my ladies chest and chalked a little cleverage.

The rest is straight forward. I hope you will give this a try. Too much fun!

By gully, if I didn't know better, I'd swear this was my body ... er... am I dreaming!!!

Thanks for stopping by today.... On my next post, I'll show you my ladies matching undies. Make sure you come back, or better yet, become an e-mail subscriber and have my posts sent directly to you!
