Seen this card by Amy May. It was too cute not to copy! I cut the hearts free hand - you know, the way they showed us in school ... fold your paper in half and cut a half heart. Open it up and presto ... a heart!
Photo copy the Pillow Box pattern on to off white cardstock and cut out.
Cover with wax paper and score on the broken lines with a stylus – the wax paper helps your stylus to move more freely. Pre-fold on the score lines. Open and lay flat so that the broken lines are next to the table. As you can see in the photo below, the long narrow flap was bent towards the table too, to prevent getting ink on it.
NOTE: all inks used are from the Aurora Color Box Petal Point.
DTP the pillow box using orchid and colonial blue. Over stamp with the bug cluster 23.303.G page 231 using midnight ink. Over stamp with the ball 21.036.B page 38 using turquoise ink, then the dragonfly 23.151.J page 170 using gold pigment ink.
Glue the un-inked flap to the inside of the box. Hold together with paper clips until set.
The football-shaped sections on the bottom are pushed in by pinching on the scored lines to fold. If desired, glue in position.
Fill the box with a gift or treats and close the football-shaped sections in the same manner as the bottom ones were. Wrap with curl ribbon, raffia or whatever you want.

Ink - gold colorbox, midnight colorbox.
Accessories - gold thread, glue stick, mat board, clear embossing powder.
Card idea is by Karen Sigler and was published in the March/April 2000 Rubber Stamper magazine page 29.
Prepare card by folding 8½ x 51/2” burgundy cardstock in half. Crease fold with a bone folder. Mount with 51/4” x 4” white cardstock. Set aside.
Tear different colored mulberry papers into pieces varying the size and shape. Using a glue stick, apply torn mulberry paper to 5 x 33/4” white cardstock or sticker paper until the surface is covered. Wrap and glue the mulberry paper to the back of the cardstock.
Cut a length of gold thread approximately 36” long and wrap around the collage. Adhere the ends of the thread to the back. Mount to card.
Layer a large cancelled postage stamp onto a burgundy cardstock scrap. Trim with fancy scissors and adhere to the top left corner with mounts.
Swipe 3” x 41/2” burgundy cardstock with a static bag. Gold emboss the butterfly 03.054.M page 14 and Cut out. Curl the wings and glue only the body to the bottom right hand corner of the card.
