C078 French Shadow

Prepare card by folding 81/2 x 51/2” ivory cardstock in half. Crease fold with a bone folder. Cut Chili cardstock 4 x 51/4”. Mount to the center of the card. Set aside.

Cut ivory cardstock 33/4 x 5”. DTP using Amber. Randomly stamp the shadow 33.005.G page 221 using Old Rose ink. Stamp directly on the shadow with the body 33.004.G page 221 using Terra Cotta ink. Randomly stamp the phrase 33.006.G page 221 using Magenta ink, making sure to over stamp to give a collage effect. Stamp with the fern 14.328.G page 221 in Coral ink, over stamping everything. Sponge with Magenta. Mount to center of the card. Set aside.

Stamp phrase 07.304.H page 215 on ivory cardstock using Terra Cotta ink. Trim very close. Edge in Magenta. Mount on to Chili cardstock. Glue in a pleasing manner to the card front.

All inks used for this card are from the Arboretum petal point.

What does the French stamp say? From what I have been told, it is difficult to translate into English – it is from a French song/rhyme about spring.
