C022 Gone Fishing

Prepare card by folding 51/2" x 81/2" white cardstock in half using a bone folder to make a nice crease. Stipple edges with Vivid purple ink. Over stamp with 23276.K page 225, using gold Colorbox. Set aside.

Load brayer with Berry Blaze Kaleidacolor ink. Brayer across a scrap of 5” x 33/4” white cardstock. Randomly stamp the fish 23021.B page 39, using the color #7 from the Berry Blaze inkpad. Randomly stamp the bubbles C.0078 page 92 using the color #5 from the Berry Blaze inkpad. Randomly over stamp the net 23276.K page 225 using gold Colorbox.
Spray with a Sealant like a cheap hairspray or gold glitter spray to seal the color. When dry, attach to the card front.

Gold emboss a phrase to the bottom part of a 3” x 21/2” piece of purple vellum. With a ¼” hole punch, punch two holes at the top and thread with sheer ribbon. Trim to fit.

Attach on an angle to the front of your card, hiding the gun under the ribbon.
Stamp the Cherish Yesterday phrase by Stampendous to the inside of your card using Berry Blaze Kaleidacolor ink.

First taught this class on October 26, 2001. Inspired from a swap card I received from Nancy A Tan many years ago.
